NCP’s Intro to Home Buying workshop provides an overview of essential information for first time home buyers. This workshop is an introduction to topics that are covered extensively in our 8-hour first time home buyer education course and in our one-on-one counseling sessions. In this workshop, we discuss risks and benefits of buying a home, how to get prepared to buy a home- creating a spending plan, establishing, maintaining, or repairing credit, saving for downpayment, shopping and purchase.

This presentation will cover what invasive plants are, which invasive plants you are likely to find in your garden as weeds, how you can control them, New York State’s regulations for invasive plants, and which common garden landscape pests are now considered invasive.
